This is a “rapid” popup testing center in Brooklyn. I joined the line at 8am, and was positioned 26th. By 9:45am, I was still 26th. By 9:50am, exactly one person had been tested, so I wished everyone the best of luck, and walked back home.
Later on, I made some clam chowder soup, then watched The Professional with my daughter, who was home sick from school. She gave it a solid 86% rotten tomatoes score, which made me very happy. Gary Oldman is a badass in my book, and simply cannot make a bad movie if he tried.
Afterwards, I rode my bike to the hardware store to buy six MR-16 LED bulbs, came home, and replaced the burnt out yard lights that have been dark all year. All said and done, a pretty solid save of an otherwise wasted morning.
